Our Objective

Our goal is to equip archers with an affordable arrow that sets them up for success whether target shooting or hunting. We offer options to customize your carbon arrows to leave you feeling confident in your setup. All of our arrows are built in Kamloops, BC and are put through our in house quality control check.

Our Arrow Building Process

1 - Shafts are weighed and grouped within +/- 2 grains

2 - Shaft straightness and spine stiffness is confirmed

3 - Premium shafts are spine aligned

4 - Shafts are cut to length

5 - Both ends of shaft are squared and de-burred

6 - Arrows are fletched with the center vane placed along the spine

7 - Vanes are reinforced with glue at the front and back of the vane

8 - Inserts are glued in

9 - Tips are screwed in

What we offer

"Standard" 0.244" inside diameter carbon fibre shafts

Shaft straightness: +/-0.001 and 0.003 straightness in 200, 250, 300, 340, 400, 500, 600 spine stiffness and +/-0.006 straightness in 400, 500 and 600 spine stiffness

Shaft weight - shafts are sold in like-weight batches, shaft weight varies by +/-0.2 grains per inch by batch. Common shafts weights by spine stiffness: 200 spine 11.4gpi, 250 10.1gpi, 300 spine 9.3gpi, 340 spine 8.5gpi, 400 spine 7.6gpi, 500 spine 6.8gpi, 600 spine 5.5 gpi

Vanes: 2" standard, 2" premium (Bohning Blazer), 2.5" premium (Bohning Heat), and 3" standard. Vane colours offered: orange, red, yellow, blue, green, pink, white, black. The nock colour will match the vane colour unless requested otherwise.

Inserts weight (grains): 10, 38, 100

Arrow Point weight (grains): 75, 100, 125, 150

Arrow wrap colours: white, reflective white

Lighted nocks: Red, Green

Standard nocks: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, white

Owner

Tristan Tyler

Tristan's love for archery started at 4 years of age when he began shooting bent aluminum arrows with a traditional fibreglass bow, which turned into archery hunts across B.C. His passion for archery, over 23 years of archery hunting experience, and knowledge of the outdoors deepened through his career as a professional forester, culminate with his goal to equip archers with arrows that offer the most positive experience possible, whether that be target shooting or the pursuit of wild game in the most challenging outdoor conditions around.

Atticus Brummitt

Acme Custom Arrows is thrilled to introduce Atticus, our lead product designer and field tester. With over 9 years of shooting experience and 3 years as an archery technician at Boorman Archery and being with us since nearly the start, Atticus is constantly working to improve his understanding and knowledge of archery. His countless hours outdoors also bring a lot of experience of what a hunter needs to get the job done well. Atticus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, his contributions have been invaluable to developing our products.

Mike Anthony

This is Mike's first season shooting for Acme Custom Arrows and only second year shooting archery. But in his short archery career, he’s quickly become a knowledgeable and skilled shooter, consistently finishing on the podium, setting club records, and is the 2024 BC 3D champion in the Hunter category. From the beginning, Mike has been an Acme Staff Shooter and product tester always pushing the limits of himself and others all around himself to shoot better and become better archers.

Marc Britton

This is Marc Britton's first year with Acme Custom Arrows. As Acme's specialist and representative for single-string archery, he is deeply immersed in the world of traditional archery. Primarily focusing on 3D competitions, Marc also enjoys some indoor target shooting during the winter months. With an impressive track record that includes multiple national gold medals and a podium presence at world championships, Marc excels alongside his wife, Katie Britton, as part of the Canadian National 3D Team. His dedication and skill make him a standout competitor and an invaluable member of the Acme team.

Madison Porter

Madison started archery at a young age and is a highly skilled shooter and staff shooter at Acme Custom Arrows, with over 10 years of experience in the field. She regularly dominates the female compound category at provincial shoots. She brings a new perspective and particular expertise to archery and the team.
